A variety of styles are available with your choice of square, rounded, or notched corners.
Mounting options include adhesive backing and holes (no holes, top and bottom, left and right, or four corners). Optional screws.
Types of Imprinting (In-House)
Choose from a variety of imprint methods all done in-house at Global Recognition including:
Laser Engraving
Your one color text, numbers, logos and graphics is created by using a laser to cut away material from the surface without burning it. A good choice for one color designs with intricate details.
Full Color Digital Imprint
Your full color text, numbers, logos, photos and graphics are imprinted using UV inks.
Sublimation
Your full color text, numbers, logos, and graphics are imprinted onto the metal using a heat transfer process.
Diamond Tip Engraving
Your straight line text and numbers are scratched engraved into the metal material. Oxidation is an option that darkens the engraving making it easier to read on a light color metal plate.

There's a Story Behind Every Plate
Congratulations to Marc Winzenreid who created a CW Combo Key (dual-key) hand radio design which won a contest and was published in a national magazine!
Global Recognition was honored to create identification plates for his design and for the lid of the wood box. Marc was impressed with the sharpness of imprint details on the small brass plate measuring 1″ wide x 0.50″ high. This is one of the smallest plates we’ve created. We can create custom sizes because we imprint and cut our own plates in-house.
During a fascinating conversation with Marc, he shared that hand radios allow you to communicate with other people around the world using Morse Code. He has been a hand radio operator since 1968! Did you know that knowing Morse Code used to be a requirement to get an amateur radio operator license up until a few years ago. Since then, there has been a renewed interest in hand radios and Morse Code.
