Sky Woman Trophy: Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic
Project archive: Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic.
The Sky Woman trophy began with a hand-drawn design by artist Scott Hill, selected for the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic. Global Recognition helped bring that artwork to life as a substantial three-dimensional award.
From an artist’s drawing to a finished award
The project connected the artist’s vision with the practical work of creating a trophy for presentation. Its meaning was rooted in Oneida culture, giving the award a connection to the host community as well as the achievement it recognized.
Awarded at the tournament
Global Recognition’s original project story documented the trophy with tournament winners Katherine Kirk in 2017, Sei Young Kim in 2018 and Shanshan Feng in 2019.
Start with the story your award should tell
A custom award can begin with a sketch, a meaningful symbol or an idea about the recipient and occasion. Share your concept, quantity, budget and presentation date so our team can discuss a practical direction.
