Sublimation FAQs

Have a question about your specific project? Contact our team or visit us at 980 Velp Ave. in Green Bay.

What is sublimation?

Heat transfers dye into compatible polyester fibers or a suitable coating. On garments, the decoration does not add the same raised layer as a typical surface-applied transfer.

Why do you recommend white or light-colored polyester?

The fabric color affects the finished image. White polyester gives the artwork a clean base; dark garments and ordinary cotton are not suitable for the same direct sublimation process.

Can you use my photograph?

Yes, on a suitable product. Send the original, highest-resolution image you have so we can review its clarity and crop at the intended print size.

Can any mug or gift be sublimated?

No. Hard goods need a compatible coating, and the product must suit the equipment and process. Ask us to help identify an appropriate blank before purchasing.

Is sublimation suitable for a small gift order?

It can be a useful option for small personalized projects. Availability, product choice and artwork still affect the price and timing, so share the details for a quote.
