The Sky Woman Trophy

Bring artist Scott Hill’s selected design to life as a trophy for the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic, preserving its cultural meaning while creating an award for tournament presentation.

Global Recognition helped translate the hand-drawn artwork into a substantial three-dimensional trophy. The work connected the artist’s vision with the practical considerations of producing a finished award.

The trophy brought a connection to Oneida culture and the host community into the tournament’s recognition of achievement.

Global Recognition’s original project story documented the award with Katherine Kirk in 2017, Sei Young Kim in 2018, and Shanshan Feng in 2019.
